Iranian actor Hassan Joharchi dies

Iranian actor Hassan Joharchi has passed away after suffering a heart stroke in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.

The actor passed away at the age of 48 on Friday, February 3.

Born in 1969 in Tehran, Hassan Joharchi held a BA in Theater.

He made his cinematic debut with ‘Elephant in the Dark’ in 1989, but found nationwide fame with the series ‘Under Your Protection’ in 1995.

He acted in movies such as ‘On the Wings of Angels’, ‘Banquet’, ‘Bitter Almonds’, ‘Two Women’, ‘Mr. President’, and ‘A Girl Named Tondar’.

Joharchi established himself as a star of the small screen with the series ‘It Was an Angel’ in 2006.

He also appeared in a number of series, including ‘The Young Lawyers’, ‘Like a Stranger’, ‘Love’s Homework’, ‘Cocoons of Flight’, ‘Factor 8’, ‘Worlds Apart’, ‘Mirage’, ‘The White Nights’, and ‘Leila’s Loneliness’.
